KIDS Program

A Licensed Program

Licensed through the NYS Office of Children and Family

Services, the KIDS Program offers a summer and school-year

program for children in Kindergarten through 12 years of age.

School Year Program

Our school-year program provides a safe environment for children to learn and grow as individuals.  During our program, children are provided with a nutritious snack, receive assistance with homework assignments, and participate in fun learning activities.  We have a partnership with the school that allows us to communicate with teachers about each child's needs to ensure children receive special attention as needed.  Throughout the year, children enjoy visits from outside educators such as 4-H, Eat Smart New York, and the Historical Society.  They also enjoy arts & crafts, cooking, games, and our playground/basketball court.

We are open when school is not in session, including snow days and several holidays.  For those families who need care before school, The Place opens as early as 6 a.m.  We know that families have busy schedules and we work to accommodate them.  As an added convenience, a healthy breakfast is provided each morning.

Summer Camp

Our summer program is an all-day program filled with fun activities such as swimming, trips to the playground, field trips, guest readers and more.  Children are provided with breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day.
