Helping Children
The Place is a fully licensed, community-based youth service organization focused on empowering the children of Chenango County. Our trained staff of educators develops and administers youth-appropriate programming that encourages exploration, promotes learning, and fosters a sense of community. We’re dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment in which children learn, grow, and are encouraged to realize their full potential as individuals and members of the community.

Back to School Supply Drive
The Place will be sponsoring a Back to School Supplies Drive. This drive will be held between August 1 and August 15, with distribution to start the week of August 22 (more details to follow). Last year, we assisted over 267 youth from all school districts in Chenango County. We look forward to partnering again with local businesses, organizations and community members as we continue to meet the needs of our community.
